Our policy – energy independent
Our Company has already been energy independent since 2016 through the installation of a 48KW photovoltaic plant on the roof of our privately owned facilities.
The complex that includes our business follows a green policy with the first P/S installation already in 2012. Also its expansion in the years 2016 & 2020 resulting in the zero energy footprint of the businesses operating there. In particular, they have been energy independent for 6 years.
What is net metering - energy autonomous
It is the offsetting of produced-consumed energy and exists mainly for photovoltaic installations in various countries such as Cyprus, Italy, Germany, Denmark and the USA.
The Net Metering allows the consumer to cover a significant part of the energy he consumes while at the same time giving him the possibility to use the grid for indirect storage of the green energy produced by his photovoltaic system.
The term "net" exists from the difference between consumed and produced energy in a certain period of time.
