One of these developments is the new TrailerConnect® TyreManager application. By applying the tire sensors the customer can configure after a tire change or tire replacement. Also, all relevant tire data is immediately available again in the TrailerConnect® portal.
Time-consuming workshop visits are no more and trailer availability has increased.
New tricks in the Schmitz app
Schmitz's app also allows sensors to be mapped to the new wheel position with just a few 'clicks' after a tire change or sensor replacement.
First we scan the QR code that is on the sensor with a mobile device. Then we reset the sensor in the application.
Here you program the new sensors when the position of individual tires, or there is a replacement of the position of the axle, or you fit the new sensors when a new wheel is installed.
Time is money
A smartphone, tablet or computer is all you need to use the app. It is no longer necessary to go to a service partner, expensive downtime shows a reduction and the trailer is back on the road in no time.
The app for configuring and managing installed Schmitz Cargobull trailer tire sensors is free. There is no cost for additional diagnostic software. A prerequisite is that the trailer has the TrailerConnect® CTU or CTU 3 telematics control unit.
